The County’s engineering department has requested the BCC initiate an amendment to the Transportation Map, Thoroughfare Right-of-Way Map regarding 60th Street N from 140th Avenue to 120th Avenue. Currently it allows for an 80 ft ROW and they would like to change it to 100ft ROW to allow for a future 5 lane road. This was to be considered at the January 31st meeting of the BCC but it is my understanding it will be postponed to a later amendment round. I have requested a meeting with County staff to get a better understanding of what they are planning to do in the near future. Below is the letter and map with little detail from the County staff. I will update as I learn more information.
